What is your Favourite Drinks?

My all time favourite drinks would be Coke and Orange Juice. Coke is just addictive and that's what I think when I drink it. I can get addicted to Coke. With Orange Juice, I drink one cup, I have to have another, and another. One brand of OJ I don't like is Minute Maid. They have a bad taste. Cheap but bad.

I'm thinking of taking vacation, and the most affordable place is Victoria. Backpack trip would be nice but trying to keep it under $300. Hopefully, I can plan this out before Christmas.

I have Ubuntu! No Windows XP on my desktop. I don't know how things will work out but so far not bad. Not buggy at all~ ^^ I didn't know Linux doesn't require Antivirus/Antispyware program. Wow~ Any other Linux you guys can recommend?

Oh and it's going to be boxing day very soon. Have to get to work by 5:45 AM. My supervisor has to get there by 4 AM. Oh my! It will be a good experience. I am little disappointed at sale prices.~~

Merry Christmas all!

Google RON PAUL

I am fascinated at American politics. There is this rich history behind America that inspires people. Ever since I've seen youtube video on Ron Paul, the debates of Democratic and Repulican parties, it's really enjoyable. I've spent so much time watching those youtube video and wish I was an American so I may have a say in their election. (When is Canadian election?)
I see that Hilary Clinton is passionate person who work hard and will change the country but may spend too much money. Americans are spending so much money all over the world taking care of other countries. Is it right for America to get tangleed in the fight between other countries? Would that bring more harm like 9/11? Should they be forceful in doing so? Doesn't bible tells us to be peacemaker? Where to draw line? But America can't afford to do this and all this foreign policies bring economy down. "Blowback" It's really interesting how the founding fathers of America built that country. It's about Freedom. I do get the message Dr. No is sharing, but is that too idealistic? Or system like Canada better? It makes me think if we really have Freedom in this country where we are forced to pay so much taxes. In some way, it is like V for Vendetta. Is government too involved in our lives? Does government have to control everything? I guess its about equality. Ah~~ so complicated. I guess trusting the goodness of people can't be done so taxation may be the only way for this society to work. The political science would be an awesome subject to learn. I think I support Ron Paul. ^^

WARNING: EDDIE IS GRUMPY! STAY AWAY UNTIL UNGRUMPED!

Somethings inspire me to write. I would say "Oh man! I'm putting this on my blog!" And I rarely do it. What I am about to share with you, please take it very lightly even though I may sound a little grumpy (what? a little grumpy! then what's the warning for!)

I was in my room, using my MacBook Pro, enjoying surfing the web and all. But suddenly, I got viruses. No. I'm joking. Suddenly, my sister came to see me "Eddie, computer (Dell: Windows XP) is making really annoying noise!" I thought to myself "Dell must be dying." So I went to check and surprisingly it wasn't the machine. It was SYSTEM IDLE PROCESSING. So I googled SYSTEM IDLE PROCESSING. As I was searching, I remembered happening this before. Many many times. Now, I don't care what this is for. This must die. This is ridiculous. This never happens in my MacBook Pro. What's going on! I'm not doing anything and eating my CPU power. I wonder if this happens also in Windows Vista. I don't know how people can continue to use Windows. I think Mac OS X is better. I'm not saying Window sucks. I don't want to say that. I am just saying Mac OS X is better. Hm.. I have to try Linux other than Mac. Someday...

Now, today was Sunday and of course I went to church. I totally forgot that the Broadway Church was having special service called "Simply Christmas." I thought whole thing was brilliant. The music, very very short dramas, choir and all. It was so well integrated with each other that I was amazed at the message through it all. I was so touched! Simply focusing God's love for us this season was an amazing message to all.

Search and find (destroy!)

A new school year begins and that means some changes for me. Well, is it? I am in search of a new church and this is the time where I want to explore many different church as possible. I don't feel like a student anymore but need to finish one more distant education course which I need to write so many essays with my run on sentence and grammar-freeless english skills. Yak! I was hoping to graduate from university by not writing any essays but I guess I have failed to fulfill that dream.

I haven't been able to think or reflect that much since work keeps me busy but I learn to realize the reality of life. Life is hard. Well, I got that a long time ago but still, the circumstances that I am in doesn't help me to do what I want. I am making excuses here but somethings aren't, really!

I really need a divine guidance on the direction of my life and I see that a life after school gives me more things to think about where during school, its all about exams and homeworks, not that I am saying those are easy but... Well, I guess we are given the responsibility at hands so no complaining there. In a way, I'm glad it is not easy to earn money or to live a life. These things make me a person that I desire to be so that when time comes, I could say "I am ready to go" to places where I have imagined myself to be, more precisely, where God wants me to be as he told Abraham to leave his home town and go. I am blabbering here which means this is my limit for writing today. ^^

p.s. One lesson I learned from work today:

factory fresh KOREAN CUSTOMER = Idiot = RUN for your LIFE! seriously...

Apple iPod Event on September 5th, 2007?

Friday August 24, 2007 11:56 AM EST
Posted by arn

Arstechnica claims that Apple will be holding a major event on September 5th, 2007 according to "sources within the company".

Our sources are slim on details for exactly what will be announced, but said that at least one of the things that will come out of September 5th will be a new iPod.

September 5th falls on a Wednesday, which the author acknowledges is an unusual day for Apple to make announcements, but points to the holiday weekend as the reason behind it.

Rumored photos and videos of the upcoming iPod revisions have sparked a response from Apple's legal team, with cease and desist demands to a number of sites.

I'm anticipated about a new iPod. I want One!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
I just finished reading the book and it was very long!! :P I guess I shouldn't put any spoiler here but as a last book, it explains everything. This book is more like the last one, Half-blood Prince. Hope you get the chance to read it.

PS. Nah... Forget it... No spoiler... ^^

Mouse Roller
My wireless mouse's roller isn't working properly anymore. It is just too sensitive and I tried to fix it by just pushing/pulling the roller somewhat hard which made it worse. So dumb of me. I don't know about you but I am a big roller user and it's so bugging me. My index finger constantly rolls even though it's not working properly. So I turned the function off in system preferences but I still roll~~ Maybe I should get another one. I don't know. Maybe Apple Mighty Wireless mouse but they cost $80!!!

I think FIFA should do something about the referees. They are so bad at their job calling wrong fouls. Why don't they introduce replay thing like NHL does. Especially yesterday's game between Chile and Argentina, the referee was really really bad. I like watching soccer but those things really annoys me. Well, enough about referees but also some players (especially Argentina) fakes the injury so well. Come on!!! I hate those players! It really frustrates me! Just play the game well and win the game for once. Sports annoys me a lot. :P

Adium?
I am so suprised at this program called Adium, a free instant messaging application for Mac OS X that can connect to AIM, MSN, Jabber, Yahoo, and more. I was having so much headache with MSN messenger for Mac OS X since it kept crashing on me. Adium has such a beautiful interface that you wish they make it for Windows. ^^

If you have Mac OS X, check it out http://www.adiumx.com/

One more thing I want to say is, when I use Safari in Windows XP, the programs opens normal, but the internet experience is really slow. I've been wondering if Microsoft is doing something to prevent the full functionality of Safari. On my Mac OS X, it works just fine. Oh and when I first used on XP, it worked just fine and somehow it is not anymore. I am wondering if that is happening to my computer only. Honestly, I use Firefox more than Safari. ^^ Sorry Apple, I was fan of Safari but Firefox is better but don't fret, I am still using MacBook Pro and I love it. :P All those using Windows Vista, I sympathize you. I never want to use Vista!!!

Hot Summer!
Immature High School kids should go back to school!!!!!!!! They are ruining the summer! >.<
Allergy?!
I think I am developing an allergy. Having an itchy nose and sneezing. Also, having a sore throat ever since I started working at Best Buy. Probably due to many talks. I can't believe I'm developing allergy. Thinking of seeing a doctor if it worsens. And Vancouver is so hot now! The sun really hurts the skins and outside is so stuffy.

A few days ago, I had a rude korean customers asking for a free software with their purchases. They didn't buy anything since I didn't give it to them and my senior was on my side. ^^ Good thing about Best Buy is that there is no bargain like Future Shop where it can get really ugly. But for us, we just cut off from the start which I'm glad we are not based on commissions. But still, I have to learn so much of presenting promotions, service plans, and other services to customers which is actually to help them with their products. I think I'm learning a lot from there and glad to work there. Great team too.

Deciding where to go see the new Harry Potters movie but actually I'm more excited about the last book! I can't wait! It's going to be a great finale! (300 pages!). Oh and enjoying U-20 Fifa on CBC these days. I wanted to go see a game in Burnaby but no one to go with and no money. All my friends are going China. Well, just two. ^^

Finally, I went to see my adviser yesterday, and I might not come back to SFU in the Fall. Well, technically I'll be a student but as a distance education student. This is totally a good and bad news. We'll see. Chao!

Ferrari?
Yesterday while waiting for 99 B-line at Broadway way to work, saw Ferrari. The driver was asian. ^^ I think this was third time ever seeing Ferrari. The first time was at BCIT bus stop and second time was at the Brentwood bus stop. Amazing car!!! Great pain job too! ^^
